Application:

Reversible windows are an interesting alternative for traditional windows.

It is a typical system of window joinery used on the Danish, Swedish and Norwegian market. This system is applied in new flat buildings as also in modernization of existing buildings.

Features:

Shape: rectangular
Depth of the profile: 62 mm
Opening: the sash rotates 180 degrees (horizontal or vertical turn axis)
Possibility to apply glazing of 24 to 54 mm thickness in two or three pane glass-unit system.

Equipment:

-Window opens with a handle installed in the bottom or the side (vertical turn axis) part of window
– on-surface hinges with a blockade
– blocking system against unwanted opening – it restricts the tilt/opening to 22 degrees
– turning resistance adjusted in the hinges (by 4mm Allen key)

Advantages:

-after rotation for 180 degrees- possibility to clean the window on the external side
-high durability and functionality in long lasting exploitation
-allows for making large size windows (up to 2400mm width and 2000mm height, with maximum weight 180kg for horizontal and 120kg for vertical turn axis)

Disadvantages:

– thick profile of the sash (limited light transmittance surface)
– on-surface hinges
